Although this photo series came out last year, we can’t help but share this again with our fans. Michael Stokes a Los Angeles based photographer does and captures images nobody in the most amazing way and although he had published a glamorized male figure book titled Masculinity back in 2012, people all over the world started going crazy over his after several candid and vivid images of wounded war veterans went viral.

The photographer has since published 4 books, donated to the Semper Fi fund, appeared on many TV shows and also on several magazines. Below are the images of soldiers who have fought in wars and have had their limbs amputated. Not only did these images capture our hearts and hearts around the world, but just looking at these images gives us a ton of reasons to quit complaining and start living in God’s grace!
