Apartheid resurrection in South Africa

Kudos to the first black leader of South Africa’s main opposition party, Mmusi Maimane, for vowing to eliminate all racist members from the party. The country has been reeling from renewed racial tension 22 years after apartheid.

Earlier this year, Penny Sparrow, a politician in South Africa, took to Facebook and made an extremely racist and insensitive post (see below) comparing blacks to Monkeys. Although the estate agent later deleted her post saying she did “not mean it personally” we sure hope her ability to spew ludicrous on comments public platforms are forever yanked from her.

Below is an excerpt of her stupid Facebook Post.

“These monkeys that are allowed to be released on New Year’s eve and New Year’s day on to public beaches towns etc obviously have no education what so ever so to allow them loose is inviting huge dirt and troubles and discomfort to others.

“I’m sorry to say that I was amongst the revellers and all I saw were black on black skins what a shame. I do know some wonderful and thoughtful black people. This lot of monkeys just don’t want to even try. But think they can voice opinions and get their way of dear, From now on I shall address the blacks of South Africa as monkeys as I see the cute little wild monkeys do the same, pick and drop litter,”

  1. Racism is definitely still alive. We’re only hearing about this because its been made public. So many people spew hateful comments in their private homes and only the crazy ones air it out. I hope her mouth is sewed up
